The text below is taken from our ownership agreement. Please read this carefully as you will be required to sign a legally binding document containing this text.
The parties agree that the owners must respect the following conditions:
1- I am transferred to the owner, on the understanding that the owner takes possession of me and is responsible for me like his own.

Les parties conviennent que les propriétaires doivent respecter les conditions suivantes :
1- Je suis transféré au propriétaire, étant entendu que le propriétaire prend possession de moi et m’en suis responsable comme son propre lui.
2- Je serai traité comme un membre de la famille avec amour et affection. Il fera de son mieux pour assurer ma sécurité et mon bien-être.
3- Il me nourrira au moins trois fois par jour et me fournira un approvisionnement en eau fraîche à tout moment.
4- Je vivrai à l’intérieur de sa maison et ne sera pas isolé de la famille. Il me sortir en
« liberté ».
5- Il ne m’utilisera pas à d’autres fins que la compagnie. Il ne permettra jamais aucun abus physique, mental ou émotionnel en vers moi.
6- Il fournira tous les soins médicaux requis et/ou nécessaires.
7- il affirmera qu’aucun membre de sa famille n’a été reconnu coupable d’une violation de la loi sur le bien-être des etres humain,
8- Il doit m’acheter pour lui-même et Il obtiendra le droit à de me donner, vendre ou échanger, de m’offrir en cadeau à un ami ou à un membre de ma famille.
Attestation sur l’honneur :
J’accepte d’accepter la responsabilité et la propriété à mes risques et périls. J’accepte d’assumer l’entière responsabilité financière de mon individu à compter de la date du présent contrat.
En cas de maltraitance, J’ai le droit d’exposé mon propriétaire à des sanctions pénales prévues explicitement.
JE COMPRENDS QUE LE NON-RESPECT DE L’UNE DES DISPOSITIONS CI-DESSUS ENTRAÎNERA MA CONFECTION.
Je comprends qu’en signant volontairement cet accord, je conclus un contrat. La violation de toute condition de cet accord est considérée comme passible de poursuites. En cas de violation de l’accord, je m’engage à payer un minimum de $3 en dommages-intérêts. De plus, je m’engage à accepter la signification des actes de procédure par courrier certifié, avec accusé de réception, à l’adresse indiquée dans le présent contrat de propriété, et renonce expressément à tout droit de recevoir une signification personnelle.

Conceptually, the project exists in two forms: an original form, and a copy of this original form:

The original form of the project:

Ideally, the project consists of a pact with YouTube to implement the following

YouTube should develop an algorithm that superimposes all their data in a single video (all the images and all the threads of their data will therefore be superimposed). This video should start from the very beginning every time a new video is uploaded to YouTube by any YouTube user.

According to statistics, the longest video on YouTube is 596 hours. So to imagine the result, we are supposed to get 596 hours of sound noise and image noise or maybe more if an even longer video is uploaded. An hour worth of video is uploaded to YouTube every second, meaning that the resulting video hardly ever starts. The only time that the resulting video can be seen is in the event a sudden cessation of all video uploads (this could result from a breakdown, a change, a bankruptcy of the company …). At this point, the video will play once from the very beginning to the end before disappearing completely. In the meantime, the video would be in motion, without really moving forward, showing one still image. But after the slightest disaster, there will be no more uploaded videos, and the image will change completely from being a still image to being a noise image since all the data of all collected videos, will play at the same time.

The copy of the original project:

Unlike the original project, which belongs to infinity, its copy is a finite version of it, firstly because it will be programmed by man and secondly because it is more likely to disappear one day upon facing the slightest disaster. 

Even if YouTube comes to implement this project, it would make no sense. Its existence and non-existence amount to the same thing since it is a boring constant leading nowhere. 

On the other hand, its copy is like us humans, it will stay alive as long as it’s consuming videos. After being programmed, the copy will be able to live and die independently, like us or any other species, a concrete machine.

This copy of the project will exist in two forms, the first form will exist while new videos are being fed into the program, causing it to reset, which will give a still image. Therefore, even as the video grows, it will always look the same to us, going back to Gilbert Simondon’s “concrete machine” in his critique of cybernetics, where man himself is said to be programmed like a concrete machine. The second form will be triggered by a disaster, and can be thought of as creation after a catastrophe. This same image will be transformed into a noise image, which will only calm down and become clearer towards the end. But what will this noise video be?

For us, this program is like any other species, and we’ll be researching the relationship between artificial intelligence and the ontology of the work of art through this concrete machine. In other words, where and what will art be to this new AI species?

Idéalement, le projet consiste en un pacte avec YouTube pour mettre en œuvre les éléments suivants

YouTube devrait élaborer un algorithme qui superpose toutes leurs données dans une seule vidéo (toutes les images et tous les fils de leurs données seront donc superposés). Cette vidéo doit recommencer du tout début chaque fois qu’une nouvelle vidéo est téléchargée sur YouTube par un utilisateur YouTube.

Selon les statistiques, la vidéo la plus longue sur YouTube dure 596 heures. Donc, pour imaginer le résultat, nous sommes censés obtenir 596 heures de bruit sonore et de bruit d’image ou peut-être plus si une vidéo encore plus longue est téléchargée. Une heure de vidéo est téléchargée sur YouTube chaque seconde, ce qui signifie que la vidéo qui en résulte ne démarre presque jamais. Le seul moment où la vidéo résultante peut être vue est en cas d’arrêt soudain de tous les téléchargements de vidéos (cela pourrait résulter d’une panne, d’un changement, d’une faillite de l’entreprise …). À ce stade, la vidéo sera lue une fois du début à la fin avant de disparaître complètement. En attendant, la vidéo serait en mouvement, sans vraiment avancer, montrant une image fixe. Mais après la moindre catastrophe, il n’y aura plus de téléchargement de vidéos, et l’image changera complètement passant d’une image fixe à une image de bruit puisque toutes les données de toutes les vidéos collectées seront lues en même temps.

La copie du projet original:

Contrairement au projet original, qui appartient à l’infini, sa copie en est une version finie, d’une part parce qu’elle sera programmé par l’Homme et d’autre part parce qu’il est plus susceptible de disparaître un jour face à la moindre catastrophe.

Même si YouTube venait mettre en œuvre ce projet, cela n’aurait aucun sens. Son existence et sa nonexistence reviennent au même car c’est une constante ennuyeuse qui ne mène à rien.

D’un autre côté, sa copie est comme nous les humains, elle restera vivante tant qu’elle consommera des vidéos. Après avoir été programmée, la copie pourra vivre et mourir de façon autonome, comme nous ou toute autre espèce, une machine concrète.

Cette copie du projet existera sous deux formes, la première forme existera pendant que de nouvelles vidéos sont introduites dans le programme, provoquant sa réinitialisation, ce qui donnera une image fixe. Par conséquent, même si la vidéo grandit, elle nous ressemblera toujours, revenant à la «machine concrète» de Gilbert Simondon dans sa critique de la cybernétique, où l’homme lui-même est dit programmé comme une machine concrète. La seconde forme sera déclenchée par une catastrophe et peut être considérée comme une création après une catastrophe. Cette même image sera transformée en une image de bruit, qui ne fera que se calmer et devenir plus claire vers la fin. Mais que sera donc cette vidéo de bruit?

Pour nous, ce programme est comme toute autre espèce, et nous allons rechercher la relation entre l’intelligence artificielle et l’ontologie de l’œuvre d’art à travers cette machine concrète. En d’autres termes, où et que sera l’art pour cette nouvelle espèce d’IA?
